NAKOSS President urges Kogi Poly students to embrace tolerance, unity

The President, National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Kogi State Polytechnic chapter, Comrade Abubakar Sheriff has called on new students of the institution to embrace the virtues of tolerance, unity and cooperation regardless of their differences.

He made the call recently when he attended the Ebira Students Association orientation programme held on the Lokoja campus.

The gesture showcases his commitment to engaging with diverse student groups and foster a sense of community on campus.

He used the forum to urge the students to embrace the virtues of tolerance, unity and cooperation regardless of their ethnic or religious differences, saying that it was only in such atmosphere that the institution can make meaningful progress.

He interacted with Ebira students, encouraged participation in campus activities and listened to their concerns.

This event demonstrated his dedication to student development and welfare, valuing contributions and perspectives regardless of ethnic or cultural background.

The President also appreciated the Patron of Ebira Students Association, Mr. Suleiman, for promoting unity among student leaders and student traditional heads across the 21 Local Government Areas.

This gesture highlights the President’s efforts to build bridges between different groups and foster collaboration.

Overall, the President’s attendance at the orientation underscores his commitment to inclusive leadership and community building.
