LG Polls: Kogi HoS votes, task workers on dedication to duty

Kogi State Head of service, Mr Elijah Evinemi was among voters that performed their civic responsibilities at Ihima in Okehi Local Government Area during the just concluded council polls.

He equally charged civil servants to always perform their civic responsibilities by voting for candidates of their choice in all elections.

Speaking shortly after casting his vote at code 2 Obeiba1 ward, in Ihima, Mr Evinemi noted that voting in all elections was a civic responsibility that everyone must perform in order to enthrone government that will serve their interest.

The HoS expressed gratitude to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for prioritising the interest of civil servants in the State.

He commended the governor for his approval for the immediate implementation of N72,500 minimum wage in the state.

Mr Evinemi charged workers to reciprocate the kind gestures of the governor by rededicating themselves to duties for smooth running of government activities.
