The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected 16 Local Government Chairmen and 193 Councillors across the state following the successful conclusion of the Local Government elections.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, Danladi-Salihu, hailed the election results as a reflection of the widespread support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

“The victory is a testament to the general acceptance of the APC by the people under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s leadership,” Danladi-Salihu said.

He also commended the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC), security agencies, journalists, and voters for their roles in ensuring a peaceful and credible election process.
