Reps member lauds Gov Ododo, Kogians over non participation in protest

The Honourable Member, representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly, Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna, has applauded Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and Kogians over their role in maintaining peace and order in the State during the ongoing hunger protest Nationwide.

In a statement issued in Abuja, and made available to our Correspondent, appreciated the governor and Kogites for towing the path of peace. This action, he said is worthy of emulation.

According to him, “I am overwhelmed with happiness over non participation of kogi people, especially the way the governor played his vital role in making the state calm.

He noted that it is not easy to be calm and maintain peace while protest is taking place  almost everywhere in the country.

The Reps Member popularly known as IJN, specifically applauded the governor for that decision to allow the state to be peaceful.

The Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency lawmaker equally commended the good and peaceful people of the state who took the part of maintaining peace in the state.

His word: “there is no reason for protest in Kogi state as the government is doing everything possible to alleviate the suffering of the masses in the state.
