Responding, an elated Fanwo, described the chieftaincy title as the first of it’s kind he was receiving at home, though he had been conferred with several other titles in other communities.

The Commissioner used the occasion to appeal to Amuro sons and daughters at home and in the Diaspora to join hands in developing the communities, while calling on all stakeholders to inculcate the same attitude in their children.

He further reiterated the commitment of Amuro communities to mobilize support for the state government during elections in addition to promoting law and order to enhance peaceful coexistence in the interest of the sustained growth and development of the state.

Hon. Fanwo, equally used the forum to reassure the people of Govrenor Ododo’s unwavering commitment towards the development of all the three Senatorial Districts of the state.

“It’s a great honour. I’ve taken a lot of chieftaincy titles in many places but this is the first one I’m taking at home with the seven communities coming together to make me the Oluomo of Amuro. I’m excited. I feel honoured and this would galvanize me to continue to contribute my best to the development of Amuro communities. Oluomo is like the head of all the sons and daughters of Amuro. That’s what it means”, Fanwo explained.
