The Redeemer Men’s Fellowship of Christ Chapel Ganaja Lokoja, recently celebrated it’s day with a witness of God’s grace and power.
In an opening message the Pastor in charge of Christ Chapel Redeem Christian Church of God Ganaja, Pastor Daniel Oluwabiyi, applauded the men for hosting this year’s Men Fellowship Day. He said the theme of this year’s celebration titled “a man after God’s heart” will equip the men for greater exploit in the vineyard of the Lord.
Chairman of the Men’s Fellowship who doubles as the former Kogi State Correspondent Chapel Chairman, Friday Idachaba, told The Graphic, that members of the fellowship worked as a team saying it contributed immensely to the success of the programme.
Idachaba said the week prior to the celebration, the men fellowship members engaged in fastings, prayers and medical outreach to members of the church. He thanked the members of the fellowship for their cooperation which culminated in making the programme successful.
Guest Speaker at the occasion, Pastor Eric Akinsami, who spoke on the theme of this year’s celebration titled “a man after God’s own heart”, said the fear of God is one of the identity of a man after God’s heart.
Pastor Akinsami urged members of the church to keep engaging in soul winning and obeying God’s instructions at all times maintaining that it goes a long way in identifying a man after God’s own heart.
Secretary of the Men’s Fellowship, Emmanuel Okolo and Chairman Men’s day planning Committee, John Idakwoji, said Christ Chapel of the Redeem Christian Church of God Lokoja, has made it a yearly function to celebrate the Men’s Fellowship day. They thanked God for his great presence in this year’s celebration.
Highlight of the celebration was the presentation of cash gifts to the less privileged, presentation of Quiz and Choreography to the glory of God.
