The Chairman of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Kwara State Council, Comrade Bolatito Isaac, has congratulated Nigerians on the successful entry into the New Year, thanking God for the gift of life and renewed hope.

In his New Year message, Comrade Isaac, expressed gratitude that Nigerians were spared to witness another year, describing it as a reflection of divine grace.
He urged workers and citizens to remain hopeful, assuring them that the New Year holds prospects for improvement.
“I congratulate all Nigerians, especially members of the Medical and Health Workers Union and the entire organised labour in Kwara State, for witnessing the New Year. We should keep our hope alive that this year will be better for us all,” he said.
The labour leader, who also serves as Chairman of the Coalition of Health Workers Unions in Kwara State, called on workers to demonstrate dedication, loyalty and commitment to hard work, noting that collective effort remains key to national growth. He expressed confidence that government at all levels would continue to work towards meeting the needs of the people.
Comrade Isaac reaffirmed the commitment of the union’s leadership to the welfare of its members, pledging to work tirelessly to ensure their expectations are met in the year ahead.
According to him, “The leadership of the union will continue to work assiduously in all ramifications to make this year memorable and rewarding for our members.”
He also appealed to Nigerians, particularly Kwarans, to support the current administrations through prayers and cooperation, stressing the need for wisdom, good health and political will for leaders to drive meaningful transformation of the nation’s economy.
The MHWUN chairman encouraged citizens to uphold virtues such as humility, self-discipline, love, compassion and generosity, describing them as essential ingredients for sustainable development and peaceful coexistence.
While advising people to celebrate responsibly, Comrade Isaac urged Nigerians to remain law-abiding and security-conscious, and to show kindness to the less privileged during the festive period.
He concluded by calling on citizens to continually support leaders through prayers, asking God to grant them guidance, protection and wisdom to govern with justice, equity and fairness for the progress of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
