*Urges respect for all security protocols

As the people of Ogori/Magongo State Constituency of Kogi State, join other Christians across Nigeria to mark this year’s Christmas, Honourable Bode Ogunmola, has joined his voice to wish them a joyful and peaceful celebration.

Ogunmola, who represents the constituency in the State House of Assembly, urged his constituents to stay safe by observing all laid down security protocols.

While thanking them for their continued support, he applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for showing keen interest in the wellbeing of the people of Ogori – Magongo and commended his purposeful leadership.

The lawmaker reminded his constituents that the season is about peace, joy and love, adding that the hallmark of the birth of Jesus Christ, is about the triumph of love, peace and unity” and, therefore, urged them to continue to sustain the existing bond of love in the area.

He also called on his constituents in particular and Nigerians in general to “extend warm embrace of kindness to those around them, saying that, “this is the real essence of the season.”

He further admonished them to make the most of the season to pray for the Local Government, state and the country, especially at this very difficult times.

Ogunmola maintained that the message of Christmas is one that speaks to the exigencies of every moment and one that enjoins citizens across religious and political divides to show love and empathy.

He advised that while they celebrate, they should bear at the back of their minds that power belongs to God and that life goes beyond the festivity.
