The Speaker, who emphasised the need for the people of the state to continue to live in peace and harmony, said Kogi has a lot to teach other States of the Federation in view of its unique geographical location.

He noted the need for the people, particularly Christians, to remember the state in their prayers, noting the place of prayer in the development of the state.

He pledged the commitment of the current Kogi State House of Assembly to evolve policies and laws that would advance the state’s development.
