Idoko commends The Graphic Newspaper for sustained production

The Permanent Secretary of the Kogi State Ministry of Information and Communications, Mr. Celestine Idoko mni, has praised management and staffs of The Graphic Newspaper, for maintaining its weekly production schedule.

Idoko described the newspaper as the state’s pride, highlighting its high-quality content.

During a visit to the newspaper’s office, Idoko assured the management and staff of the Ministry’s continued support to keep the publication on the news stand.

He expressed hope that the newspaper would reach all corners of the state, keeping citizens informed about Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s policies and programs aimed at improving lives.

Idoko lauded Governor Ododo as a true servant leader, urging citizens to support his administration.

The Technical Adviser to the Ministry, Mr. Ebenezer Adurodija, described Idoko as a thoroughbred technocrat and urged the corporation to support him.

He further called on the corporation’s management to look inwards, and be ready to think outside the box to attract more funding to the corporation to take care of its numerous needs.

In his response, the Managing Director of The Graphic Newspaper, Mr. YJ Itopa, thanked Idoko for the visit and requested his support in addressing the corporation’s challenges, including inadequate funding.

Itopa noted that the Ministry under the watch of the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, has been up and doing, introducing innovations that have positively affected the Ministry and its agencies.

He enumerated some challenges confronting the corporation chief among which is inadequate funding and pleaded for joint efforts and initiatives to boost funds accruing to the corporation.
