2027: APC Youth Leaders drum support for Tinubu, Ododo

A group of Youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have declared their resolve to mobilise and ensure that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Tinubu are returned for second terms in office.

A statement issued by the Information Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, James Sani , said the youth leaders converged on Lokoja in the state capital recently to declare their support for the re-election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaker after speaker said their first and second options remains the re-election of President Tinibu and Governor Ododo come 2027 general elections.

The meeting was convened by the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Aridaojo Anyebe, in his office in Lokoja.

Speaking on behalf of the APC Youths, the State APC Youth Leader, Alhaji Muhammad Muhammad, said youths in the state have resolved to collectively support and work for the re-election of the President and Governor Ododo based on their credible performances.

Alhaji Muhammad appealed for more youth inclusiveness under the present administration, especially at the rural areas across the 21 Local Government areas in the State.

The APC Youth Leader particularly appealed to Governor Ododo to continue to engage APC Youth Leaders across the state in order to add value to the administration.

Alhaji Muhammad described the performance of the present administration under Governor Ododo as impressive and urged him not to relent in his efforts to provide more dividends of democracy to the people.

He also commended the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Anyebe, for his commitment in carrying the Youths along in the scheme of things under his leadership.

On behalf of the APC Youths in Kogi State, he declared their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinibu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo come 2027 general elections.

Responding, the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Anyebe, described the meeting as timely, saying the present administration under Governor Ododo means well for the people of the state, particularly the youths.

Hon Anyebe assured the APC Youth Leaders across the 21 Local Government Areas of Governor Ododo’s continuity.

The Commissioner assured that their requests will be presented to the Governor for prompt attention.

The Commissioner through his foundation, approved a slot each for them to present a candidate to learn a trade with due funding.
