With a heart full of gratitude to God Almighty, I wish to on behalf of myself and the entire Okala family, say a million thanks and appreciate you for standing by us during the demise of my dear mother, Hayiya Amina Yusuf Okala (Omatumeyi Oma Achorna). I am indeed overwhelmed by your show of love and uncommon support in different forms.
I specifically thank my lovely brother, confidant and friend, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA; his able Deputy, His Excellency, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo and the entire cabinet members; Heads of Agencies, Parastatals, and Heads of Tertiary Institutions all led by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Pastor Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, PhD.
Your Excellency, the Chief Servant Sir, you are indeed an embodiment of humility and humanness. It is my sincere prayer that God will continue to guide and elevate you beyond human comprehension.
I thank the entire State House of Asembly Team led by the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, the Judiciary led by the Chief Judge and the Grand-Kadi. I warmly appreciate the dexterity with which the three arms of Government in Kogi State held their hands solidly around me in this moment of grief. God will meet you all at your points of need.
I sincerely appreciate the members of the National Assembly led by Distinguished Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna and Hon Abdulraheem Sani Egidi, God bless you all abundantly.

I must also appreciate my dear Royal Fathers led by HRM, Agabaidu, the Attah Igala, the Ejeh Dekina, Ejeh Ankpa, Ejeh Ofu, Ogohi Onu Anyigba, Onu Abocho, Onu Itobe, Ohiegba Mozum, all other royal fathers from Igala Kingdom and the entire State, thank you. Your Royal beads shall last long on your wrists.
The Muslim Leaders and Scholars led by the Chief Imam of Anyigba, JNI, Council of Ulamau, and Chief Imams from the length and breadth of Kogi State and beyond, may Allah reward you abundantly.
To my dear friends, classmates, and colleagues from the 36 States of Nigeria, you all provided a soothing balm. God bless you richly.
Special thanks to Leaders of APC and other Political parties, Local Government Chairmen led my Dekina Chairman Hon John Urah Ikani, my lovely, dependable workforce from the Office of the Auditor General, Kogi State, and all my personal aides who worked tirelessly, day and night right from Mama’s times in the hospital till she passed on; and the burial. Remain blessed forever.
I appreciate all my enthusiastic fans and mammoth admirers who came out to support me in one way or the other, including political allies, folks, and the clans of our dear Mum. I sincerely appreciate your labour of love.
