LGEA Demonstration Standard College in Okene, Kogi State, has made waves with its impressive performance in the 2025 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
The school’s students achieved remarkable scores, with 12 candidates scoring over 300 marks and over 60 students scoring above 200 marks. This outstanding performance has set a benchmark for public schools nationwide.
This was disclosed in a statement issued last week by management of the school.
The statement which was signed on behalf of the management, by the principal of the school, Mallam Rufai Isah, attributed this success to the students’ dedication, discipline, and commitment, as well as the teachers’ efforts.
The management expressed joy over the achievement, highlighting it as a demonstration of academic excellence.
This achievement he added, showcases the school’s commitment to academic excellence and its potential to inspire other institutions to strive for similar success.
He commend kogi state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering support to education in the state, adding that the Governor’s passion and his administration’s strategic investment in public schools across the state has started yielding tangible results.
The principal then promised the commitment of the school towards sustaining the tempo and raising the banner of academic distinction in kogi state and beyond.
