Kogi State marks World NTD Day with road walk

Kogi State Ministry of Health in collaboration with key stakeholders has commemorated the 2025 World NTD Day with a road walk awareness campaign to draw attention to Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD).

The event brought together officials from the ministry, key stakeholders such as the Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) under the National NTD Elimination Programme, health workers, the media and other relevant stakeholders in the state.

Highlight of the event include a walk around major streets in Lokoja the state capital and sensitisation of the public about NTDs.
