Kogi Govt celebrates former Governor Idris Wada at 75

The Kogi State Government, has congratulated former Governor, Captain Idris Ichalla Wada, on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

In a statement issued on Tuesday in Lokoja, the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, described Captain Wada, as a respected leader, patriot, and statesman who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Kogi State and Nigeria.

“Captain Wada has remained a statesman of repute, a respected leader, and a patriot who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of our dear State and Nigeria at large,” the statement read.

Fanwo noted that the former Governor’s years of service, both in the aviation sector and in governance, reflect his dedication, discipline, and commitment to the welfare of the people.

“As he marks this milestone, the Government celebrates his enduring legacy of humility, public service, and his firm belief in the unity and progress of Kogi State,” he added.
