Kogi Assembly member commences borehole project in Advi LGA

In line with his campaign promise, the member representing Adavi constituency in kogi State House of Assembly, Honorable Haruna Asema, has commenced sinking of motorised boreholes across the 11 wards of Adavi LGA.

Hon. Ahmed, had earlier commissioned  three boreholes, with cash empowerment to 860 constituents recently in Ogaminana, Adavi LGA.

Addressing a crowd of party supporters that graced the commissioning/empowerment ceremony, Hon Asema, said the donation of the boreholes and empowerment of 860 constituents is in line with former governor Yahaya Bello’s policy of giving back to the society.

He explained that the three motorised boreholes, sited at Uhucheba, lNagazi and Adavi -Eba wards, falls under the first phase of the water project, assuring that the remaining 8 wards will benefit during the second phase.

Hon Haruna seized the opportunity to appreciate the speaker of Kogi state House of Assembly for his purposeful leadership.

He then called on the people to continue to support the party.

While commending Hon Haruna for his efforts, the Director General, Government House Administration lokoja, Dr Umar Shaibu Oricha, called on the people of the area to give their full support to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

In his remarks, an elder statesman, Alhaji Isa Salami, who appreciated Hon. Asema, called on other representatives of the people to emulate him.
