A devastating attack by suspected Boko Haram members, has ravaged the Kuldha community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, leaving at least five vigilantes feared dead.

The attack, which occurred recently, has sent shockwaves throughout the community.

According to reports, the victims were on their daily routine security checks when they were ambushed by the terrorists.

The District Head of Dugwaba, Mr. Simon Yakubu, confirmed the attack, describing it as “senseless and callous.”

The attack has sparked renewed calls for increased security presence in the area, with residents appealing to security agencies to take decisive action against the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists.

This incident follows similar attacks few weeks ago on nearby villages, including Kwapre and Bangna, carting away foodstuffs, destroyed houses, places of worship and killing many. This highlight the ongoing security challenges in the region.
