Hon. Ogunmola congratulates, Ododo, Muslims on successful end of Ramadan

The Member, representing Ogori/Magongo State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Bode Ogunmola, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and all Muslims in his constituency on the successful completion of Ramadan.

In a statement, Hon. Bode prayed God to accept their Ibadah and bless their rewards of sacrifice.

He enjoined them to sustain the spirit of sacrifice, noting that what the state and the country needs at this trying time is men and women that are ready and willing to make sacrifices.

Hon. Bode also wished Muslims a blessed Eld-el-fitr, praying God to keep the state and country united and take away the challenge of strife.

He urged citizens of the state to continue to pray for the leadership and support the lofty vision of the Governor to make the state one among equal.

Hon. Bode said that at this trying period, what the state in particular and the country in general needs is prayers.

He expressed optimism that the country, with the prayers of everyone, will surmount its challenges and come out strong.

Hon. Bode, who is the House Committee Chairman on Publicity, also congratulated the Speaker and his Muslim colleagues and assured of the commitment of the present Lawmakers to continue to support and work with other arms of government to make the state a cynosure of all eyes.

While praying God to continue to guide the leaders of the state aright, he called for the continued sustenance of the tenets of the Holy Month.

He said, “if we allow the spirit of the Holy Month to guide our daily dealings with our neighbours, Kogi State and Nigeria will be a better place.”

He then prayed God for the continued peace of Nigeria and for the leaders, he prayed for divine wisdom to allow them govern with the fear of God.
