The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kwara State Command, has commenced a free vehicle safety check from March 17th to 20th, 2025. The exercise aims to ensure roadworthiness and enhance safety on the highways.

According to a statement signed by SRC O.B. Basambo, on behalf of the Sector Commander, the initiative will see FRSC personnel deployed to roads, motor parks, fleet operators, ministries, and other relevant locations to conduct thorough inspections of all types of vehicles. The goal is to advise vehicle owners on necessary corrections without imposing any penalties.

The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Muftau Irekeola, commended motorists who have been complying with traffic regulations and urged others to take advantage of the free checks.
