Ogori community assoc. elects new executives

The umbrella body of Ogori Community in Kogi State, Ogori Descendants’ Union (ODU), has elected new officials to run its affairs for the next three years

The new executives which take over the Engr. Gbemi Omole -led executives which ran the affairs of the union for nine years, is headed by Dr. Gabriel Aiso, of Jos Branch, while Mr. Ebenezer Adurodija of Lokoja Branch emerged as National Secretary

In his valedictory speech, Engr. Omole, appreciated stakeholders in the community for their support in the past nine years and urged them to extend similar gesture to the new leadership.

While promising to stand with the new leadership, he urged them to strive to build on the legacies of his administration, building bridges of unity and advancing the course of development of Ogori.

The change of leadership which held at the Annual General Meeting of the union, produced the following; President – Rev.  Gabriel Aiso, Vice president – Onyegbule Petra and Gen Secretary – Adurodija Ebenezer.

Others are; Asstistant General Secretary1 – Agbabiaka Moses and Asst. Gen. Sec 2 – Anuwe David.

Also elected were; Financial Secretary – Atoju Flourish, Treasurer – Boro Florence, PRO – Adebija Clement, Auditor 1 – Adeojo Jonathan and Auditor 2 – Udebu Dorcas.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Aiso, promised to run an all inclusive administration that will build on the legacies of successive leaderships of the body .

He appealed for prayers and continuous support from all and sundry and pledged the support and loyalty of the body to the Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration in the state .
