NSCDC Tanke Division holds Medical Outreach, Security Summit

The Tanke Division of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command, marked its end-of-year activities with a Medical Outreach, Security Summit, and Award Night recently.

The event reflected the Corps’ dedication to community service, enhanced security, and recognition of excellence within its ranks and among stakeholders.

The program commenced with a Medical Outreach that offered free medical tests to elderly residents of the Tanke community, showcasing the Corps’ commitment to the well-being of citizens and social responsibility.

Following this, a Security Summit brought together key stakeholders to discuss proactive strategies for strengthening neighborhood safety and tackling security challenges collaboratively.

The grand finale was an Award Night celebrating officers and stakeholders for their outstanding contributions to public safety and community development.

Speaking at the event, the Kwara State Commandant, Dr. Umar Mohammed, represented by Area K Commander, ACC Kehinde Adebayo, emphasised the importance of recognizing excellence in service. “Recognizing hard work and dedication not only motivates personnel but also inspires excellence and strengthens service delivery,” he stated.

Tanke Divisional Officer, SC Oyinloye Yinka, described the event as a platform to appreciate the resilience of officers and foster stakeholder collaboration.

He highlighted the division’s achievements, attributing them to strong partnerships and collective efforts.

The NSCDC Kwara State Command reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining such initiatives, enhancing community engagement, and improving operational efficiency in the years ahead.
