From Ben Ogbodo, Ankpa

The Police Superintendent in charge of Ankpa Police Divisional Headquarters, Abiodun Solomon, recently spelt out some disciplinary measures on law breakers and obstructors in the area.

SP Abiodun disclosed that police is always a friend to the society when and where law is strictly adhered to.

Abiodun revealed that his policy and mode of operation is an open door type, stating that his door is open twenty-four hours to tackle the peoples’ problems.

In the same vein, he has cautioned his men to always see the people as their own.

SP Abiodun also warned his men not to dabble into any civil case and not to also put members of the society under pressure when such needs arise. He promised to leave Ankpa better than he met it.

“Be professional,” he cautioned the police and other security men in his domain, adding that their action must tally with the rules and regulations guiding the police force. He commended his predecessors, vowing to put finishing touches to where they stopped been the 19th personnel on the board who has previously served the people of the area.
