As Kogi state sets to elect Local Government Chairmen this weekend, the Deputy Speaker kogi state House Of Assembly,RT.Hon.Comfort Nwuchiola Egwaba ,has asserted that the All Progressives Congress,(APC), remains the only party with a clear mapped out agenda for the socio-economic and infrastructural development of Ibaji land.
In line with this, she has urged the electorates to come out enmasse and vote for the candidate of the party so as to ensure rapid actualisation of the set goals.
Hon.comfort who disclosed this while speaking with The Graphic in Lokoja, recently, assured the people of the capability of the APC candidate to build a progressive IBAJI,that work for all,just has she stressed the need for more supports.so as to actualize the set objectives.
While acknowledging the supports of the people of their constituent so far ,the deputy Speaker expressed commitment to continue to make bills more that will enhance speed development as well as uplift the IBAJI LGA.
She stated that she has so far put in place policies and measures that will enhance speedy development to the area just as she stressed that she would pursue vigorously the need and challenges of the people.
She pointed that the kogi state oil producing commission is point of the measures put in place to advertise the so many challenges in the area adding that ,by the time the commission becomes fully operationally IBAJI people would have the cause to smile.
The deputy Speaker stated further that she will collaborate with the local government council and other relevant stakeholders from the area to ensure that the IBAJI people enjoys the dividends of democracy adding that this could only be archive through their votes and support for the party.
Hon. Comfort noted that the APC candidate,Hon . Emmanuel ugeh has been tested as a Caretaker chairman in area just as she assured confident in his ability to do more for the people.
While commending the governor for accord priority to the welfare of Kogites, she urged the incoming local government chairmen to replicate same at the council level to ensure even development across the state.
