Seed of Christ Golden Church (Land of Reality), popularly known as Ijo Sebioba, marked a significant milestone with its one-year anniversary celebration at the Lokoja branch from March 16th to 22nd, 2026.

The event, themed “A Se mo tun leererin”(We Shall Laugh Again), was a week-long festival of worship, revival, empowerment, fun, and thanksgiving, reflecting joy, renewal, and God’s faithfulness over the past year.

The celebration was hosted by His Eminence Apostle Mustapha Solomon Oni (Baba Sebioba), the General Overseer of Seed of Christ Golden Church, alongside his wife, Mrs. Eunice Mustapha Oni (Mama Sebioba). The Resident Pastor of the Lokoja branch, Pastor Raphael Mustapha, and his wife led the local coordination, welcoming members, invited ministers, and special guests from the Nigerian Police Force, Civil Defence, and Federal Road Safety Corps.

Friday evening brought excitement with a Drama and Song Night at 10:00 PM, showcasing talents through dramatic presentations and uplifting music that celebrated faith and the theme of renewed laughter.

The day also included an environmental sanitation exercise, promoting cleanliness and collective responsibility.

The grand finale was the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday at 7:00 AM, a time of heartfelt gratitude, testimonies, and praise for God’s mercies over the branch’s first year.

During the celebrations, a brief interview with Resident Pastor Raphael Mustapha highlighted the ministry’s impact.

Reflecting on the year, he shared: ” Looking back over the first year it has been awesome. When I got to this ministry, it was already big and I also thank God I have not had any problem, no serious challenge since I joined the ministry. People are attracted to the ministry and they see the hand of God. Thank God for that.”

On personal spiritual growth, he added: “I’m looking like an Eagle. You know, Eagles are always flying high, So I’m looking like like an eagle. So if you want to experience the mercy of the Lord, you have to do his will and always meditate on His words. When you are meditating on the Word of God, it will teach you how to go closer to him and how to grow in this life and the sky is your limit.

The anniversary included touching moments such as the presentation of gifts by the church ushers, followed by the cutting of the anniversary cake by Pastor Raphael and his wife, alongside invited ministers. Group photographs captured the joy and unity.

The week-long event underscored Ijo Sebioba’s growth in Lokoja, blending spiritual revival with practical outreach and community engagement.

Attendees left encouraged by the promise of the theme—”We Shall Laugh Again”—as testimonies of God’s goodness filled the air.

Seed of Christ Golden Church continues to expand under Apostle Mustapha Oni’s leadership, with branches worldwide focused on evangelism, teaching, and transforming lives through the power of the Gospel.
