*Reaffirms that ‘one good turn deserves another’

By Abraham Abubakar

The member representing Ogori/Magongo State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Information and Publicity, Honourable Bode Ogunmola, has asked the electorate in the state to support the second term bid of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Speaking at The Graphic editorial new year party, Hon. Ogunmola reaffirmed that Governor Ododo has these past two years, earned the confidence of the electorate.

Represented by Mr. James Oyewole, the Executive Editor of The Graphic, the lawmaker applauded the way and manner members of The Graphic Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), endorsed that the executive members, after having ended their first tenure, continued in office for another term because they did well.

According to Hon. Ogunmola, there is so much to learnt from this gesture by the larger Kogi electorate as he stressed that Governor Ododo, giving his excellent performance, should not go through much rigour to earn his reelection.

“He has made impact in all spheres and I believe that one good turn, deserves another. No one changes a winning team”, he re-echoed.

While commending the editorial team of The Graphic for the good job they are doing in promoting the state, Hon. Ogunmola urged them not to relent.

He promised to work with other members of the House to bring the challenges confronting the organisation to the attention of government, assuring that something positive and concrete will be done this year.

He expressed optimism that with enough resources at the disposal of the state, Governor Ododo, would positively change the face of the state.

“He is a leader that is keen on making a difference and he will spare no effort to do things that can advance the course of the state’s development”, he enthused.
